False Hope

"Arabs were hopeful on Wednesday that President Barack Obama will amend US policy on the Middle East, while Israel expects little change in the wake of its deadly assault on Gaza."

Nothing is going to change with Obama as president...nothing.

  1. I notice you talk about Obama's promise of change. However, I don't think Obama's main concern as president is the middle east, nor should it be. He was elected by the American people to fix the United States. When talking about change, I believe he is talking about changing things within the United States, or concerning the United States. His constituency is the American people, not the Israelites and Palestinians. I don't mean to sound harsh, but really the Middle East conflict is not his problem nor his responsibility. He has a recession to end and a war to get out of. You obviously do not like the United States very much, but really it shouldn't be the US' fault or to blame to what's going on in the Middle East, although I know it is them that provide weapons to Israel. Still, the point is I don't think Obama was talking about the Middle East when he talked about change and it's really not his problem to deal with...
